Juniper’s Mist AI is a SaaS-based platform for full stack network management. Together, ServiceNow and Juniper Networks provide automated network management from inside the ServiceNow platform.
The Service Graph Connector for Juniper Mist provides managed service providers and large enterprises the ability to import the networking product inventory of Mist AI into ServiceNow and allows users to monitor devices as part of ServiceNow's platform. This capability enables network operations and management teams to automate manual processes, reduce errors and accelerate network equipment deployment and management all while reducing costs.
Simplifying Configuration and Deployment
The service graph connector provides the capability to import the entire device inventory from already deployed for wired, wireless, SD-WAN and security services. This connector can work alongside our Juniper Mist Automated Provisioning application in the ServiceNow store at:

AI-driven Proactive Network Management
This turn-key AI-driven closed-loop solution is designed to automate time-consuming processes for service providers and large enterprises. It empowers organizations with end-to-end network service monitoring, and alerting capabilities.
Key Features
MSPs and enterprise users benefit from the following:
- Synchronize inventory data between the Juniper Mist and ServiceNow
- Provide visibility for all Mist-connected network inventory wired, wireless, SD-WAN and security devices.
- Allow IT teams to see relationship across resources to predict, prevent and resolve services outages faster
- Delivers End-to-end network service, monitoring and alerting
- Leverage Marvis Actions to automatically open, update or close Servicenow Incidents
Requirements
- Users must have a Juniper Mist account
- Users must generate an API token from Mist (used by ServiceNow to communicate with Mist)
- Users must have a Mist Organization
Service Graph Connector for Juniper Mist.
- Synchronise device information from Juniper Mist Cloud into ServiceNow CMDB
- Create relationship between wired devices based on Switches ARP and Gateways BGP information
Version 1.6.1
Reliability improvements
- Site-level filtering on the Switchport data source now works correctly, so site matching applies as configured.
- On-demand MxEdge resynchronization now triggers reliably.
- Relationship cleanup now runs correctly when an MxEdge using the default CI class (cmdb_ci_net_app_server) moves between sites.
- Site filter settings are now isolated per connection, so filters no longer carry over between connections in multi-connection setups.
- Connection alias resolution is now handled correctly for single-device MxEdge sync.
- Memory values for MxEdge CIs are now reported accurately (previously inflated by ~1%).
- Switchport and BGP Peers data loaders now parse timestamps as integers, avoiding overflow for future timestamps.
- Org and company name resolution now works correctly in the Switchport single-device sync path.
Performance
- Larger ETL batch sizes across all data sources reduce IRE (Identification & Reconciliation Engine) API calls by up to 90%, improving sync throughput on large deployments.
- The core_company lookup in the Switchport, Devices, and MxEdges ETLs is now skipped when Company_link_CIs is disabled or company_name is empty, cutting unnecessary database queries.
- Site-move detection in the MxEdges and Devices ETLs now uses batched IN-queries and bulk deletion, reducing database queries from ~1000+ per batch to about 3 in typical deployments.
- Virtual Chassis member MAC addresses are now resolved by parsing entity attributes directly, replacing per-row GlideRecord lookups on cmdb_ci_netgear. This removes the unindexed LIKE queries and scope access exceptions that were the main cause of a ~50% slowdown on large deployments.
- Sites ETL company resolution now uses a single batched IN-query instead of one query per company, and no longer risks creating duplicate companies within a batch.
New features
- Disable_Switchport_Relationships system property — when set to true, neighbor data is excluded at the data loader level. This prevents RTE array expansion and skips the downstream MAC-to-CI Glide Lookup for 140K+ neighbor entries on large deployments.
- Set_device_operational_status system property — when set to false, device operational status is left unchanged during synchronization.
